COVID19 STATEMENT

With the curent situation in regard to COVID-19 , we are open for business and trading as normal; however, we have had to amend our working procedures to accommodate for the social distancing and extra precautionary measures, where required.

If we need to visit a customer that has advised us of them being vulnerable and they would like us to take the extra measures listed below, then we are happy to do so. If this is not the case, then our team will follow normal visiting as per the case pre-COVID.

Please be aware that if any of our members of staff develop COVID-19, they will self-isolate and to that effect we could be short-staffed. This will mean that we may be unable to fulfil demand easily.

Please see our current Working Procedures below for our vulnerable customers, if we are required to enter your property:

  1.  The engineer/ plumber will have your phone number and they will call you to let you know they have arrived or if necessary, will knock on your door.
  2. Please ensure you give precise instructions to the engineer/ plumber on the phone or at the door (ensuring a 2m distance between you, if at the door).
  3. If you’re able to open your door and isolate yourself, preferably in another room, then please do so. If this is not possible, then please could we insist that you remain at the very least 2m away from the engineer/ plumber at all times.

4. Our engineers/ plumbers will try to wear a mask whilst working in your property. This will be to help protect you and them.

If you have any queries regarding the procedure for our vulnerable customers, please contact us before the visit, so that we may go through them with you. This will be relayed, accordingly to the member of staff attending the job.

We’re sure you can appreciate that the steps we have put in above are to reduce the chances of catching the virus. It’s as much to protect customers as it is to protect our engineers and plumbers.

We will do what we can to help those that need a gas engineer or plumber and are happy to work with customers to try our best to keep to the Government’s and NHS advice as we go into the Winter months.

To end, we thank you for your continued support and understanding and please be assured Waterworx will do all we can to help keep your heating and plumbing working, where possible.
